About the Lifeline Community Resource Directory

For over 25 years the Lifeline Community Resource Directory, or Big Blue Book, has been an important part of the Queensland Community Services Sector. 

Whether the information was needed for a community organisation, a Council department, or for looking up something to help a neighbour across the road, the Big Blue Book was where people across Queensland would go.

The Big Blue Book will no longer be available as a hard copy directory as it has moved to an online format in partnership with My Community Directory.

The Lifeline Community Directory will continue to connect communities by providing the same contact information to community organisations, councils and government – the tools we need to work effectively together. The goal is to improve and expand the quality and the quantity of the information available.

The good news is that all of the quality community services information you need is already online in My Community Directory.
